1. Who we are

BBQ Restorations operates this website and enquiry service. Privacy contact: enquiries@bbqrestorations.com.au. The assessment form stores submitted details in the WordPress database and sends a notification to the business enquiries mailbox. The form does not accept photograph uploads; photographs may be requested by email where needed.

2. Information we collect

We may collect your name, email address, suburb or postcode, BBQ details, requested service and any photographs you later send. A full service address and access information may be requested after a booking is agreed. Please do not send sensitive or unnecessary identifiers.

3. How we use information

We use the information to assess enquiries, prepare quotations, arrange and deliver services, invoice, maintain business records and respond to concerns. An enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. Separate permission is requested before customer photographs are used for marketing.

4. Service providers and disclosure

Website hosting, WordPress, Fluent Forms and email service providers process information required to operate the enquiry service. We limit access and disclosure to what is reasonably necessary for service delivery, administration or legal obligations.

5. Enquiry retention

Unconverted enquiry details and assessment photographs are generally deleted within 90 days after the enquiry is closed, unless follow-up, a dispute or a legal record-keeping requirement makes longer retention reasonably necessary.

6. Completed-job records

Completed-job photographs may be retained for up to 24 months for service records and then reviewed. Financial and transaction records may be kept for the periods required by applicable law and accounting obligations.

7. Marketing photographs

Marketing use requires separate, optional permission. Where practicable, we remove embedded location data and identifying details. A suburb is named only with permission. Withdrawal of permission stops future use in channels we control but may not remove copies already shared by others.

8. Security

We use reasonable access controls, software updates and multi-factor authentication where available. Retention is reviewed across WordPress, email, stored images and backups. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Access, correction, deletion and complaints

Email enquiries@bbqrestorations.com.au to request access, correction or deletion, or to raise a privacy concern. We may take proportionate steps to verify identity and may retain records where legally required or needed for a dispute. Whether the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) applies depends on the business’s circumstances; these practices are adopted as operational standards in any event.
