Service terms
Service Terms
These terms apply to enquiries, quotations and accepted bookings with BBQ Restorations. A submitted enquiry is not a booking; work begins only after the scope and complete payable price are agreed.
1. Business and contact
BBQ Restorations provides the services described on this website. Business and taxation details applicable to a job will be shown on the written quotation and invoice where required. Contact: enquiries@bbqrestorations.com.au.
2. Assessments and quotations
Information and photographs help us assess the visible condition, access and requested outcome. A quotation is based on the information supplied and states the agreed scope, exclusions and complete amount payable, including GST if applicable. Hidden conditions or materially incomplete or misleading information may require a revised quotation.
3. Pricing, payment and additional work
Full payment is due on completion unless the quotation states otherwise. Advance payment may be required for special-order parts, substantial work, long-distance attendance, or where the supplied information does not reasonably disclose the job’s condition or scope. No additional work or charge proceeds without customer approval. Paid parking is charged at actual cost when disclosed.
4. Cancellations and rescheduling
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. With less notice, a charge may apply only for reasonable, disclosed and unrecoverable loss, including committed travel, parking, labour or special-order items. Weather-related rescheduling is without penalty.
5. Access and customer responsibilities
The customer must provide safe and reasonable access to the BBQ, water and power where agreed, and disclose known hazards, faults, recent fire events and relevant conditions. Gas isolation, repair, connection or certification is not performed unless separately carried out by an appropriately licensed person.
6. Parts and service limits
Suitable non-gas parts may be replaced at the restoration specialist’s discretion, subject to availability, suitability and customer approval. Existing damage, corrosion, coating failure, heat staining, wear and embedded marks may limit the achievable result.
7. Warranty and Australian Consumer Law
We will use reasonable care and skill and address concerns about our workmanship promptly. Contact us with photographs and details as soon as practicable. Nothing in these terms excludes consumer guarantees or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Manufacturer warranties apply to supplied parts where available.
8. Complaints
Email enquiries@bbqrestorations.com.au with the job date, issue and supporting photographs. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 24 hours during trading periods and will propose an appropriate inspection or resolution.
9. Photographs and privacy
Photographs supplied for assessment are handled under our Privacy Policy. Marketing use requires separate permission. A booking requires acceptance of the final quotation and applicable terms.
